Job Summary
Work in multiple departments within a distribution center, including case pick, shipping, receiving, returns, loading, order processing, and replenishment. Operate material handling equipment such as cherry pickers, reach trucks, and electric pallet jacks to locate and deliver products to designated areas. Assist with staging and loading orders into trucks for customer delivery, verify quantity and quality of incoming products, and build and wrap pallets using packing list information. Inspect stock items for wear and defects, return misplaced products to proper storage, and maintain a clean working environment while performing inventory control functions.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand for periods of time up to and exceeding 60 minutes
- Ability to make repetitive movements, such as using a 10-key or calculator, bending, or squatting
- No travel required
Desired Qualifications
- Prior experience working in multiple departments in a distribution center
- Previous experience operating material handling equipment such as cherry pickers, reach trucks, and electric pallet jacks
- Ability to understand written material
- HS Diploma or GED
- Generally 2-5 years of experience in area of responsibility
