Job Summary
Work in multiple departments within a distribution center, including case pick, shipping, receiving, returns, loading, order processing, and replenishment. Operate material handling equipment to locate and deliver products, stage and load orders into trucks, and verify quantity and quality of incoming products. Use packing lists to collect items, build and wrap pallets, and inspect stock for defects or wear. Maintain a clean working environment, perform inventory control functions, and return misplaced products to proper storage areas. Refer complex problems to a supervisor and exercise judgment in accordance with well-defined policies. Requires ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for over 60 minutes, and make repetitive movements. Mon-Fri, 5am-1:30pm with OT as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand for periods of time up to and exceeding 60 minutes
- Ability to make repetitive movements, such as using a 10-key or calculator, bending, or squatting
- No travel required
Desired Qualifications
- Prior experience working in multiple departments in a distribution center
- Previous experience operating material handling equipment such as stand up reach trucks, clamp trucks, order pickers, etc.
- Ability to understand written material
- HS Diploma or GED
- Generally 2-5 years of experience in area of responsibility
