Job Summary
Conduct general shop work, cleaning, and sweeping while managing material handling, receiving, and distribution duties. Operate press and flash cut machines and powered industrial vehicles like forklifts and pallet jacks safely. Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean, orderly condition through organization of press tooling and components. Assist in other shop areas as needed. This role requires standing, lifting up to 50 lbs, and reading tape measures. The position reports to the Operations Manager with M-F, 8AM-5PM hours at Ameraflex Sealing Products in Deer Park, TX.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous warehouse experience in receiving & distribution
- History of receiving & distribution duties
- Ability to stand, sit and/or constantly move for extended periods of time
- Ability to lift a least 50 lbs., sometimes more
- Ability to read a tape measure
- Ability to communicate orally and in writing
- Ability to follow written and oral directions
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Dependable and consistent in attendance
- Dependable transportation
- Good work ethic and a positive attitude
- Ability to work with other personnel effectively and respond to questions from managers
- In-Person position located in Deer Park, Texas
- Operating hours of M-F, 8AM-5PM
