Job Summary
Move raw materials and finished products between production areas, storage, and docks using a riding pallet jack or forklift. Transfer raw materials from storage to production and move finished products to the freezer. Offload delivered supplies to storage, organizing them per facility specifications, and stack and organize pallets while maintaining a clean workspace. Remove empty combos and garbage pallets from the department. Comply with workplace safety, food safety, and good manufacturing practices through education, training, and use of protective equipment. Perform other duties as assigned. This individual contributor role operates within a manufacturing plant environment with noise and temperature variations, requiring physical agility to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for over four hours.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma and/or equivalent work experience
- Position may require the physical agility of lifting up to 50 pounds
- Position may require frequent and/or infrequent of bending, squatting, pushing, pulling, stretching/reaching, use hands or fingers, talk, hear, feel objects, tools, controls and standing/walking on concrete flooring
- Position may require the physical ability to stand/walk for Greater than 4 hours
Desired Qualifications
- 0-1 years of experience in related field is preferred
- Excellent proficiency in all Microsoft Office Suite Products
- Ability to follow verbal instructions with accuracy
