Job Summary

Required Qualifications

• •Must be open to work all shifts
• •Must be able to complete and maintain the necessary records (inventories, rail and truck loading and unloading data, and others as required)
• •Must maintain high levels of safety and sanitation performance in and around the grain elevators and other areas assigned
• •Must be able to maintain effective communications within your own departments and all other departments (Lab, Office, Warehouse, and Elevator)
• •Must be willing to be the final QA protection for Ardent Mills to the customer
• •Must work safely, following all safety procedures, taking all precautions, and using all required safety equipment
• •Must follow all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's)
• •Must have high school diploma or equivalent
• •Must be willing and able to work additional hours which may include overtime, weekends, and holidays
• •Communication skills in English (both verbal and written)
• •Must be willing to accept accountability and work well in a team
• •Ability to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) as is required by the operating areas (i.e. safety glasses, protective footwear, hearing protection and, at times, a respirator)
• •Ability to work a rotating schedule including nights, weekends and holidays
• •Ability to work a machine paced continuous process that operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week with conditions which include: Heat/Cold temperatures (inclement weather) Indoor/Outdoor environment Dusty environment Noisy environment Frequent moving/vibration/ or other motion of equipment/processes Elevated Places
• •Must pass a physical abilities test with or without reasonable accommodation with the ability to: Frequently stand, walk, rotate, bend/stoop, twist, crouch, kneel, balance and reach at shoulder level and below shoulder level
• •Frequently climb stairs and/or ladders
• •Frequently lift and/or carry up-to 50 pounds and occasionally lift up-to 81 pounds
• •Frequently push/pull up to 36 pounds of force
• •Team members must be clean shaven in order to perform tasks where respiratory protection is required and the use of a respirator (including N-95 dust mask) requires a proper seal for adequate protection
• •This position is based at an Ardent Mills production facility and requires regular on-site presence to perform the essential functions of the role
• •Work schedules may vary based on business and operational needs and could include shift work, overtime, weekends, holidays, or on-call responsibilities where applicable
