Job Summary
General Urology physician position across Northwell Health locations including Mather, Peconic Bay, Plainview, Staten Island, Valley Stream, and Queens. Responsibilities include providing comprehensive urologic care across the spectrum of urologic diseases with minimally invasive techniques, collaborating with medical staff and hospital management, participating in conferences and educational programs, and contributing to program growth within a large health system. Qualifications include an MD degree or equivalent, residency completion with board certification or eligibility, NYS license eligibility, and strong communication/leadership skills. The role is based in-staff at multiple NY locations within the Northwell Health system; emphasis on collaboration, advanced urologic procedures, and participation in education initiatives with affiliated medical schools.
Required Qualifications
- MD Degree or equivalent from an accredited College of Medicine
- Completion of Residency with Board Certification or eligibility
- Current / Eligible for NYS License
- Outstanding communication and management skills and an ability to work collaboratively with medical staff and hospital management
- Must possess recent experience in generally accepted and currently used methods and techniques
