Job Summary
Conduct initial and in-service training for Protective Security Officers while delivering programs aligned with FPS, NWDTP, and corporate standards. Perform scheduled and unscheduled post inspections to evaluate officer performance, appearance, and adherence to orders, then submit QC reports and corrective action documentation. Maintain accurate training records, manage certifications, develop annual training plans, and facilitate remedial training for non-compliant personnel. Support administrative functions including workforce scheduling, payroll verification, and equipment accountability while ensuring all documentation meets audit requirements. Travel to other FPS contract locations as needed based on operational needs.
Required Qualifications
- Prior experience as a trainer, instructor, or supervisor in security or law enforcement
- Certification as an NWDTP instructor (or ability to obtain)
- Knowledge of FPS contract requirements and federal security standards
- Strong organizational and recordkeeping skills
- Experience with training management systems/software
- Ability to conduct inspections, write reports, and enforce compliance standards
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Desired Qualifications
- Active security clearance (preferred, if applicable)
