General Technician Trainer

Trainer– Deltar Fasteners is responsible for overseeing facility-wide instruction, developing and maintaining training curriculum, and training new General Technicians on safety, production, and quality. Responsibilities include operating 14-16 injection molding machines for production, inspecting products per work instructions (visual and gauge checks), performing SPC measurements, labeling and packaging product, auditing manufacturing processes, providing feedback to leadership, and developing training materials and competency checklists. The role also involves coordinating off-site/on-site training opportunities, leading topics such as new program rollouts, leadership development, safety training, cultural awareness, and advanced skills training, and collaborating with department leaders to identify opportunities for improvement. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent and OSHA safety compliance training; forklift certification is provided. Strong communication skills, basic computer knowledge (Word, PowerPoint, Excel), and the ability to work with multiple departments are essential. The position emphasizes continuous improvement, accountability, and a culture aligned with ITW’s values.
