Job Summary
General Technician position in manufacturing, entry level, full-time, with potential to learn the commingling process from the ground up and advance. Responsibilities include training and leading crew members, maintaining clean production area, ensuring quality and safety compliance, and possible operation of a fork truck. Must work 8-hour shifts across 1st/2nd/3rd shifts, observe a split shift, lift up to 70 lbs, stand for long periods, and follow instructions with good vision to identify product defects; requires teamwork and ability to work independently. Preferred manufacturing experience and basic math calculations.
Required Qualifications
- Successful candidates must be able to do the following (with or without reasonable accommodation):
- Work 8-hour shifts - 1st Shift (8 am-4 pm), 2nd Shift (4 pm-Midnight), or 3rd Shift (Midnight-8 am)
- Work a split shift (Sunday off + one other weekday off)
- Lift 10-15 pounds continuously, lift to 70 pounds occasionally, stand for long hours, and use hands and wrists continuously in a controlled movement
- Receive and follow instructions
- Use vision to identify defects in the product
- Good verbal and written comprehension, the ability to thrive in a team environment, and working independently with minimal supervision are required.
