Job Summary
Diagnose and repair equipment in the local service shop, perform routine maintenance at job sites, or troubleshoot and fix machinery in the field. Install and repair commercial doors and loading dock equipment as needed. Specialize in heavy machinery repairs, diesel, hydraulic, or electrical systems. Read or learn schematics and operate forklifts, aerial lifts, and pallet trucks. This full-service industrial and construction equipment dealership has been serving customers since 1956. Initial hires must pass a pre-employment background check, physical abilities test, drug test, and driving record review.
Required Qualifications
- Mechanical experience or education (diesel, hydraulic, electrical, etc.)
- Familiarity with equipment operation
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Must be 18+ for shop work
- Must be 21+ with a clean driving record for field roles
- Ability to read or learn schematics
- Forklift cert or willingness to train
- Heavy Techs must pass the DOT Med Certification
- Must pass pre-employment background check
- Must pass physical abilities test
- Must pass drug test
- Must pass driving record check
