Job Summary
Perform routine maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems throughout the facility while diagnosing and troubleshooting equipment malfunctions efficiently. Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues, respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency situations, and install new equipment following technical specifications. Maintain accurate records of all activities, collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations, and contribute to preventive maintenance schedules. Adhere strictly to safety protocols and participate in ongoing training programs. Assist in inventory management of tools and parts to ensure availability.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or vocational certificate in a relevant technical field
- Minimum 2 years of practical experience as a general technician or in a similar maintenance role
- Proficiency in using basic tools and equipment related to facility maintenance
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically and analyze complex issues
- Excellent attention to detail and exceptional organizational abilities
- Ability to read, interpret, and apply technical manuals and schematics accurately
- Comprehensive knowledge of safety procedures, regulations, and best practices
- Physical stamina and dexterity to perform various maintenance tasks safely and effectively
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively
- Flexibility to work in a dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously
