Job Summary
Conduct general surgery registrar duties in a busy regional paediatric facility, providing care for an extensive rural catchment area alongside four other registrars. Deliver diverse clinical and learning experiences across paediatric specialties with a supportive consultant group and 24-hour resident presence. Manage a 2-hour commute from Melbourne, working an 86-hour fortnight schedule, while adhering to COVID-19 vaccination requirements. This 12-month fixed-term role offers advanced training in general paediatrics within a 700-bed state-of-the-art hospital serving over 300,000 people.
Required Qualifications
- MBBS OR EQUIVALENT
- AHPRA GENERAL REGISTRATION OR RACS ASSESSED PARTIALLY COMPARABLE GENERAL SURGERY
- AT LEAST TWO YEARS OF POST GRADUTATE GENERAL SURGICAL EXPERIENCE IN AUSTRALIA, NEW ZEALAND OR UK
- COVID-19 Vaccination
