Job Summary
Conduct hospital rounding and assist in the operating room within the General Surgery Department. Provide coverage in the outpatient surgery center and manage rotating weekly shifts ranging from 4.5 to 10.5 hours, including weekend coverage. No additional call is required. Maintain flexibility to adapt to changes in this busy team of six surgeons and three existing PAs. Submit a CV and cover letter detailing interest in the organization and position.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in general surgery
- Must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.
- Must be able to work in an alcohol and drug-free workplace
- Must complete background screen
- Must complete immunization requirements
- Must be available for hospital weekend coverage
- Must be available for rotating weekly schedule
- Must be available for shifts ranging from 4.5 to 10.5 hours
- Must be available for inpatient hospital rounding
- Must be available for OR assisting
- Must be available for outpatient surgery center assistance
