Job Summary
General Surgery Physician locum tenens needed in Hermiston, OR. Schedule Monday–Friday, 8:00 am–5:00 pm with 24-hour call. Practice involves acute care and clinic settings. Required procedures include diagnostic and screening colonoscopies, cholecystectomy, hernia repair with mesh, excision of breast, repair of abdominal wall with synthetic substitute, appendectomy, skin excision, and hemorrhoidectomy. EMR systems: Meditech in hospital and eCW in clinic. Must hold Oregon medical license, board certification, BLS, ACLS, and DEA. Malpractice insurance arrangements, competitive pay, and travel/lodging support provided by AMN Healthcare.
Required Qualifications
- Oregon State Medical license required
- Credentialing Timeframe: 0 to 30 days
- Certification required: Board Certification, Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardiac Life Support, and Drug Enforcement Administration
