Job Summary
General Surgery opportunity at Saint Alphonsus Medical Center in Ontario, OR for a Board Certified or Board Eligible surgeon to join a multispecialty group. The role includes endoscopic and laparoscopic procedures within a rural-paced community practice, with a traditional Monday–Friday schedule, minimum 32 hours of patient contact per week, and ~10 days of call per month (some incentives for additional call). The hospital offers 24/7 anesthesia coverage, regional subspecialty support, in-house imaging, and a comprehensive recruitment package including relocation, sign-on incentive, student loan repayment, PTO & CME, malpractice tail coverage, health/dental/vision, and retirement benefits.
Required Qualifications
- MD or DO degree
- Board certification through ABS or AOBS or ability to obtain within 7 years
- ACGME/AOA general surgery residency completion
- Oregon and Idaho medical licensure and granting of privileges at SAMC Ontario
- DEA registration and controlled substances registration
- Interest in broad-spectrum general surgery and endoscopy practice
