Job Summary
Board-certified/Board-eligible General Surgeon for a full-time position within a multispecialty group in Ontario, Oregon. The practice offers endoscopic and laparoscopic procedures, 24/7 CRNA anesthesia support, access to surgical subspecialties (oncology, colorectal, upper GI, orthopedics, ENT, gynecology), in-house radiology and imaging services, and a rural-paced lifestyle. Schedule features a traditional work week (minimum 32 hours of patient contact including clinic, procedures, and consults) with approximately ten days of call per month (including at least one weekend) and an incentive for additional call. Recruitment package includes guaranteed salary, sign-on, student loan repayment, relocation, PTO & CME, malpractice tail coverage, health/dental/vision, and retirement benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO)
- ACGME/AOA general surgery residency
- Board certification through ABS or AOBS or within 7 years of employment
- Oregon and Idaho medical licensure and privileges at SAMC Ontario
- Controlled substance registration with Board of Pharmacy and DEA
- Interest in broad-spectrum general surgery and endoscopy practice
