Job Summary
General surgeon needed for locum tenens coverage at a 273-bed Level IV trauma center in Lebanon, KY. Day shift (8:00 AM–5:00 PM), Monday through Friday, with inpatient rounding responsibilities and operating room procedures. Primary duties include general surgery cases such as hernias, gallbladder procedures, and endoscopic procedures, with 1.5 hours of rounding per shift. Must maintain accurate documentation through the EPIC EMR system and cover 20 shifts per month. Board certification in General Surgery and BLS certification are mandatory, along with an active Kentucky medical license. Location is on-site at the 273-bed facility.
