General Surgeon needed for locum tenens coverage at an on-site inpatient facility in North Carolina. Provide general surgery call coverage on 24-hour shifts with night and weekend calls. Perform inpatient surgical procedures including appendectomies, cholecystectomies, bowel obstruction management, incision and drainage, EGD, amputation, and strangulated hernia repair. ICU and critical care procedures required. Board certification in General Surgery is required. Location: on-site in North Carolina; facility details include 49-bed hospital with operating rooms and ED. This role supports routine and emergency surgical care with an average caseload of 65 cases per month. On-site workday expectations apply.
