General Surgeon - Kosovo

The Surgeon is responsible for the comprehensive management of patients throughout the pre-operative, operative, and post-operative phases as part of a multi-disciplinary medical team. In addition to clinical duties, the Surgeon serves as the clinical lead for surgical facilities, providing leadership in support of the Medical Director. This role is based within our European projects, with potential for deployment across various locations in the region to support long-term project stability. Key responsibilities include executing surgical interventions with a focus on damage control and emergency procedures; leading specialists, nursing staff, and other medical personnel; patient assessment; casualty stabilization and medical evacuation support; care coordination; administrative diligence and accurate medical records; clinical reporting and performance data; staff mentorship; upholding quality and compliance with clinical guidelines, SOPs, and the clinical excellence framework; and providing strategic support to maintain high clinical standards. The post-holder may be tasked with further duties as required by the project.
