Job Summary
Conduct general surgery coverage in a government facility setting, managing approximately 1,540 patients annually with roughly 2,000 procedures. Perform required colonoscopies and EGDs, demonstrating GI anatomy and scope proficiency, while serving pediatric patients aged one year and up. Manage approximately 500 deliveries and 82 C-sections yearly. Work Monday through Friday from 7 am to 3:30 pm with a half-hour lunch break. Circumcision experience is preferred but not required; ASGE or ABS flexible endoscopy curriculum training is strongly preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Colonoscopy and EGD required
- GI anatomy and scope proficiency needed
- Pediatric general surgery -- patients 1 year and up
- Mon - Fri, 7 am - 3:30 pm with half hour lunch
- Approx. 1,540 patients/year with ~2,000 procedures annually
