Job Summary
supervise project activities and field operations, ensure safety and productivity, manage project schedule and QA/punch lists, review construction drawings and shop drawings, coordinate with Project Manager and other superintendents, document status with digital photos, generate daily/weekly project reports, manage material receipt and change orders, and ensure compliance with codes and safety standards using Procore and MS Project
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 10+ years of on-site Superintendent/Construction Manager experience
- Knowledge of construction trades with focus on sitework, concrete, steel, MEP, and interior finishes
- Experience with cast in place concrete and shotcrete strongly preferred
- Proficient with construction management software (e.g., Procore) and MS Office suite
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and shop drawings
- Knowledge of applicable federal, state and local building codes and safety laws
- Experience reviewing drawings and shop drawings for feasibility
- Ability to monitor multiple scopes of work simultaneously
- Ability to forecast scheduling challenges and propose solutions
- Strong safety focus with OSHA-related knowledge
- Valid driver's license; DMV checks conducted annually
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or related field preferred; High School diploma with 15+ years of related experience acceptable
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
