Job Summary
Oversee day-to-day construction operations, project delivery, and crew performance while managing foremen and field personnel. Review cost reports, time sheets, equipment logs, and project schedules to ensure alignment with budgets and timelines. Implement and enforce OSHA and environmental safety standards, drive adoption of operational software like HCCS, and prepare regular reports on operations, job progress, and risk analysis. Maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, subcontractors, and regulators while analyzing and mitigating project risks. Support recruiting, onboarding, and professional development of field staff to promote company culture and performance standards. This role bridges field operations and strategic execution to drive profitability and project success for a leading civil infrastructure contractor in Grand County, Colorado.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in civil construction, excavation, and heavy infrastructure
- 5+ years in a supervisory or operations leadership role
- Strong knowledge of CAT and heavy construction equipment
- Understanding of OSHA, DOT, and environmental regulations
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Valid driver's license
Desired Qualifications
- Familiarity with scheduling and operational software (HCSS preferred)
- CDL
