Job Summary
Plan, organize, and control all aspects of field production work within a designated area, supervising production scheduling for all trades and coordinating activities. Oversee multiple projects by directing subcontractors and suppliers, managing crew schedules, and ensuring equipment and materials are ordered and ready for use. Monitor project progress against contract documents, codes, and policies while tracking budgets, schedules, and team performance. Resolve field problems with stakeholders and adjust labor forecasts based on builder needs. May perform physical trade duties and enforce safety regulations.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or G.E.D.
- At least 5 years of related experience
- Must be able to read, analyze, interpret, comprehend, and/or present information
- Oral and written communication
- Strong utilization of Excel (compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs/ calculate yards and footage)
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
- Must be able to understand blueprints, regulations and building codes
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 pounds frequently and on occasion up to 80 pounds
Desired Qualifications
