Job Summary
General Superintendent responsible for overseeing multiple electrical construction projects, supervising field personnel including field supervisors, lead persons, journeypersons, apprentices, and helpers to ensure safe installation, alteration, addition, and repair of electrical systems. Tasks include planning layouts, scheduling materials/tools to meet scope, budget, and schedules; on-site management to meet budget/time/quality; reviewing project documents, plans, and specifications; coordinating field installations; managing project close-outs; developing and maintaining customer relationships for satisfaction and repeat business; conducting annual performance evaluations; coordinating with HR, Estimating, Accounting, Finance, and other staff; and interfacing with owners, owner representatives, architects, engineers, trade contractors, and vendors.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of an approved electrical apprenticeship program
- Four or more years of field supervision/management experience
- High level interpersonal relationship skills, proficiency in communication, organization skills, and technology proficiency
