Job Summary
Senior-level General Superintendent leading the full construction lifecycle of high-density, mission-critical data center projects. Oversees day-to-day field operations, safety, quality, scheduling, commissioning readiness, and turnover documentation. Provides strategic direction on planning, sequencing, site logistics, heavy equipment logistics, and trade coordination with owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and vendors. Manages CPM schedules, preconstruction activities, procurement strategies for long-lead equipment, constructability reviews, and value engineering opportunities. Ensures compliance with owner standards, industry codes, AHJs, and safety programs while mentoring site superintendents and field staff. Builds strong relationships with clients and project teams to achieve on-schedule, fully functional, and high-reliability data-center facilities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Engineering, or related field preferred; Equivalent education, training, or experience may substitute for a degree.
- Minimum of twelve (12) years of construction experience, with at least several years in mission-critical or highly complex MEP-intensive projects.
- Experience managing projects valued at $100M or greater (data center experience strongly preferred).
- Strong understanding of planning and scheduling for mission-critical environments.
- Deep knowledge of complex MEP systems, redundancy strategies, and commissioning processes.
- Strong financial and business acumen for monitoring project costs.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel).
- Ability to interpret technical specifications, blueprints, engineering drawings, and installation manuals.
- Demonstrated competency across all trade types relevant to data-center construction.
