General Superintendent - Commercial Construction

Job Summary
Oversee field personnel and assigned construction projects; develop and review project schedules with Superintendents to meet client turnover dates; ensure milestones and budgets are met, reduce punch lists, and uphold company and client standards. Drive on-site safety implementation per OSHA and company policies; coordinate preconstruction activities with Project Managers, review plans, site surveys, and permits; supervise Superintendents, enforce documentation practices, and manage disputes with subcontractors and vendors. Provide training and guidance to Superintendents, ensure adherence to building standards, and lead pursuit of quality and timely project completion.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 5 - 10 years of construction or general superintendent experience
- Ability to read and interpret building plans and detailed specifications
- Experience managing personnel, vendors, and subcontractors
- Experience with scheduling, purchasing, estimating, and managing personnel, vendors, and subcontractors
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient with computers; familiarity with Microsoft Project and Microsoft Office
- Must possess or obtain a state driver’s license, clean driving record, and reliable transportation
