Job Summary
Lead the Dogtopia management team by recruiting, hiring, training, and coaching 10–20 full- and part-time staff while creating staffing schedules and maintaining optimum coverage. Drive revenue through up-selling and dog evaluations, manage budgets by forecasting expenses and controlling payroll, and execute annual store goals and KPIs. Ensure dog safety by dismissing animals with behavior issues and holding the team accountable for cleaning and hazard standards. Deliver exceptional customer service by answering inquiries, resolving complaints, and maintaining high Google review ratings. Work flexible hours including weekends, stand up to 100% of the time, and lift up to 50 lbs.

- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekdays, weekends, and hours needed to support the business
- Ability to work cohesively with others in a fun, fast-paced environment
- Able to work within a structure, but think and act fast and flexibly when needed
- Ability to spend up to 100% of work time standing
- Ability to lift upto 50 lbs
- Ability to react quickly to situations that may pose a hazard to the health and safety of dogs entrusted to Dogtopia's care
- Lifting of items up to 50 lbs may be required
- Bending over and crouching down will be a daily requirement
- Regular contact with dogs of various sizes
Desired Qualifications
- Preferred proven experience leading and developing teams, ideally in dog daycare, veterinary clinic or other animal related industry
- Leadership, Sales, Marketing, and Operations background
