Job Summary
Performs general ultrasound exams including abdomen, OB, GYN, breast, and vascular/arterial studies. Evaluates, synthesizes, and communicates diagnostic information to the referring physician and radiologist. Responsible for troubleshooting ultrasound equipment and communicating with service engineers for repairs. Performs general diagnostic radiology procedures. Includes related clerical duties, including patient scheduling. Includes cross-training into other imaging modalities. Shift is Monday-Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30/5:00 pm with no call, weekends, or holidays; flexible contract hours at 36 per week; up to 7 days off. Travel assignment duration: 13 weeks. Requires RDMS/ARDMS or equivalent and BLS certification; certifications listed include RDMS/ARDMS and Basic Life Support. Location: Yuma, CO, US. Job Type: Travel/Contract.
Required Qualifications
- 24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months
- 3 months of Cerner experience is preferred
- COVID vaccination required after submission
- No current placement allowed at Program: Medefis Program - Trusted Invoices
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- RDMS (Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (ARDMS)) or alternative certification
