Job Summary
Operate ultrasound equipment to obtain diagnostic images across abdominal, OB/GYN, trans-vaginal, trans-rectal, scrotal, thyroid, breast, and vascular studies; assist radiologist in procedures; coordinate patient flow and document results; maintain equipment and QA; ensure patient safety and proper identifiers; may float to Baystate Health locations to support care and staffing; participate in training of technologists, residents, and students; adhere to JC, MQSA, ACR, and CMS requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Associates of Science in Medical Imaging
- ARDMS certification or eligibility within 6 months
- BLS certification
- Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS)
