Job Summary
Perform all maintenance and repair services including oil changes, tire rotations, battery replacements, suspension alignments, and state-mandated emission and safety inspections. Complete full, accurate, and honest courtesy vehicle inspections and preventive maintenance reports while working as part of a team to troubleshoot guest concerns. Assist in housekeeping functions, comply with federal and local regulations regarding hazardous waste and OSHA standards, and communicate vehicle damage or malfunctions to the service department. Maintain high standards of safety, cleanliness, and organization while navigating a high-volume environment.
Required Qualifications
- Current driver's licenses
- Safety, emissions, and alignment certified
- Occasionally lift and/or move over 50 pounds
- Be able to work with tools on vehicles lifted above their head
- Work in tight spaces as dictated by the vehicle's needed repair
- Have the needed dexterity in order to efficiently use hand-tools
- Walk/stand for the majority of the workday
- Drive manual transmission vehicles
- Keeping a brisk work pace in a high-volume environment
- Efficiently navigate a computer
Desired Qualifications
- This is an entry level position. We would prefer a high school or equivalent diploma, but this is not required.
