Job Summary
Conduct non-technical automotive service repairs including oil changes, tire mounting/dismounting, wheel balance, and rotation. Transport customers, pick up parts and supplies from vendors or the corporate office, and perform State Safety and Emission Inspections where applicable. Maintain shop cleanliness across the service area, tire racks, showroom, and exterior. Utilize the Multi-point Inspection and/or Repair Order to document vehicle conditions and communicate with customers and shop personnel. Follow all safety procedures, report concerns to the supervisor, and adhere to company policies. Requires a valid driver's license, ability to work five days per week including weekends, and physical stamina for standing eight hours, lifting up to 70 pounds frequently, and exposure to dust, exhaust fumes, and extreme temperatures.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to work a minimum of five days per week, including weekends
- Must possess a valid driver's license
- Must be able to stand up to eight hours per day in the shop
- Must be able to walk to gain access to various areas of the building
- Must be able to bend, stoop, kneel and crouch regularly throughout the day
- Must have full range of motion with arms and hands
- Must be able to feel, handle or finger objects frequently
- Must be able to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds regularly
- Must be able to lift and/or move up to 70 pounds frequently
- Vision sufficient to detect color, depth, and re-focus
