Job Summary
Change oil and oil filters in cars and light trucks, provide tire installation, repair, and rotation, and inspect engine fluids. Perform thorough vehicle inspections covering belts, hoses, and brakes, then move customer vehicles into and out of service bays. Lubricate frontend parts as needed while maintaining a safe, clean, and organized work area. Act in a professional manner to represent the organization, building positive relationships with customers and co-workers. This role requires a valid driver's license, mechanical inclination, and willingness to work Saturdays and Sundays.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test and background screen
- Willingness to work Saturdays and/or Sundays
- Must be mechanically inclined
- Prolonged periods of standing, stooping, and bending
- At time, exerting 50 - 100 lbs of force occasionally and/or 10 - 25 lbs of force frequently and/or greater than 10 lbs of force constantly to move objects
- Requires working at a production rate pace entailing the constant pushing and/or pulling of materials
- Customer-focused attitude with ability to work well in a team environment
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Top-notch customer service skills with a desire to build long term trust and relationships with our customers
Desired Qualifications
- One year or more years of experience in basic car care helpful but not necessary
