Job Summary
Perform routine maintenance services including oil changes, tire rotations, fluid flushes, and filter replacements to ensure vehicle reliability. Conduct comprehensive vehicle inspections to identify mechanical, electrical, or safety concerns, utilizing diagnostic equipment and technical manuals to troubleshoot automotive problems. Complete repairs and maintenance tasks accurately, followed by quality control checks and test drives to verify work meets manufacturer specifications. Prepare accurate inspection records, communicate service recommendations to sales and management, and provide estimates to customers. Maintain a clean, organized work environment while adhering to OSHA safety policies and promoting workplace safety best practices. Collaborate with senior technicians and management to coordinate workflow and support the Store Manager in fostering a cohesive team culture.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum age requirement of eighteen years
- An active and unrestricted driver's license
- Must be legally authorized to work within the United States while employed by Leeds West Groups
- Successful completion of a Motor Vehicle Records (MVR) check and ability to maintain a clean driving record
- Strong sense of integrity

- Excellent interpersonal, diplomacy, and customer service skills
- Knowledge of the automotive industry
- Strong technical knowledge of automotive systems, diagnostics, and repair procedures

- Proficiency in diagnostic tools and equipment, including scan tools, multimeters, and computerized diagnostic software, and Digital Vehicle Inspections (DVI)
- Strong and clear understanding and knowledge of the proper use of shop equipment, tools, and fluids
- Ability to adapt to rapidly changing automotive technologies, methods, and best practices
- Proficient in inventory and expense management
- Ability to thrive in a high-paced sales environment
- Ability to provide and receive constructive feedback
- Ability to manage priorities, multitask, and complete objectives with minimal supervision
- Ability to meet consistent attendance expectations
- Physical strength, agility, dexterity, and endurance
- Able to perform frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, reaching, driving, climbing, and other repetitive motions
- Able to lift and carry heavy parts and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds or more
