Job Summary
General Service Technician role performing service and installation activities on store products and services, including oil changes, tire installation, balancing, torque checks, fluid checks, filter and light replacements, stocking merchandise, customer service, and sales support following company policy. Responsibilities include unloading shipments, inspecting disposed tires, maintaining store appearance, assisting in training new employees, and ensuring safety and compliance with PPE and hazardous materials guidelines; requires ability to learn, operate vehicles and office equipment, communicate with customers, and support fast-paced, team-oriented store operations.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent (preferred)
- Age 17 or older (with parental consent)
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to learn concepts and use technical materials
- Ability to operate computers and office productivity machinery
- Ability to operate automatic and manual transmission vehicles
- Ability to communicate accurate information to customers
- Ability to work with hazardous materials
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Ability to meet PPE regulations
- Ability to pass pre-employment screenings
- Legal authorization to work in the United States
- Ability to obtain Current Motor Vehicle Inspection license within 6 months (Missouri stores)
