Job Summary
General Service Technician at MFA Petroleum/Big O Tires in Ozark, MO. Responsible for oil changes and tire services (oil changes, oil filter changes, tire installation, rotation, balancing, wheel torques), fluid and filter checks, inventory handling, stocking shelves, and maintaining store appearance. Delivers friendly customer service, explains product/service benefits to drive sales, adheres to company policies, conducts pricing and promotions knowledgeably, and participates in training. Assists in training new employees and supports safe operation of customer vehicles and equipment. Requires maintaining PPE safety, ability to lift up to 75 pounds, valid U.S. driver’s license, and compliance with pre-employment screenings; willingness to work holidays/weekends and adhere to relevant policies. Required Qualifications
- 17 years of age (with parental consent)
- Legal authorization to work in the United States
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to obtain Current Motor Vehicle Inspection license within 6 months (for Missouri based stores)
- Ability to learn new concepts and use technical materials
- Ability to operate computer and office productivity machinery
- Ability to safely operate automatic and manual transmission vehicles
- Ability to exchange accurate information with customers
- Ability to work with hazardous materials
- Ability to work in outdoor weather conditions
- Ability to comply with PPE regulations
- Ability to meet company pre-employment screenings
- English language proficiency
