Job Summary
Perform all maintenance and repair services including oil changes, tire rotations, battery replacements, suspension alignments, and state-mandated emission and safety inspections. Complete full, accurate courtesy vehicle inspections and preventive maintenance reports while troubleshooting guest concerns effectively. Comply with federal, state, and local regulations regarding hazardous waste disposal and OSHA standards. Assist in housekeeping functions and communicate vehicle damage or malfunctions to the service department. Work in a high-volume environment lifting over 50 pounds and using tools on vehicles lifted above head level.
Required Qualifications
- Current driver's licenses
- Occasionally lift and/or move over 50 pounds
- Be able to work with tools on vehicles lifted above their head
- Work in tight spaces as dictated by the vehicle's needed repair
- Have the needed dexterity in order to efficiently use hand-tools
- Walk/stand for the majority of the workday
- Drive manual transmission vehicles
- Keeping a brisk work pace in a high-volume environment
- Efficiently navigate a computer
Desired Qualifications
- This is an entry level position. We would prefer a high school or equivalent diploma, but this is not required.
