Job Summary
Perform oil changes, scheduled maintenance, and digital vehicle inspections to identify vehicle needs. Install wiper blades, bulbs, filters, and fluids while handling tire rotations, repairs, and TPMS service. Support technicians with shop workflow and maintain a clean workspace. You will work M-F 8AM-5PM CST earning $18–$22 per hour with training in flush services, steering/suspension, brakes, and electrical systems. Advance your career toward ASE certifications and C Level Technician status within a team-first environment that values honesty and quality workmanship.
Required Qualifications
- 6 months of relevant experience in an automotive repair facility or equivalent knowledge from a trade school
- Interest in building a career in automotive repair
- Willingness to earn ASE certifications and work towards being a C Level Technician
- Valid US Drivers License
- Ability to be insurable on Company insurance policy
- Ability to drive a vehicle with passengers and perform drivability assessments
- Strong attention to detail and pride in quality work
- Ability to perform inspections and follow service procedures
- Willingness to learn digital vehicle inspections (DVI) and shop systems
- Positive attitude and team-first mindset
- Previous professional automotive or mechanical experience
- Having a basic set of your own tools
- Must be able to get into and out of various vehicles without assistance
- Must be able to drive a motor vehicle with passengers
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50lbs without assistance
- Ability to view a monitor, and use touch screens, mice, and keyboards
- Ability to climb up/down and over/under work platforms and lifts to access vehicles for repair
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Ability to perform major and fine motor skill movements using body to perform the necessary actions to complete a repair, service, vehicle inspection, or shop cleaning activity
- Ability to reach overhead, push, pull, bend over/down, stoop, and other major body movements frequently
- Ability to work flexible hours/days including evenings and if shops are open, weekends
- Additional time may be required depending on business needs
