Job Summary
As a General Service Technician (GST) in an entry-level role, you will service guests' vehicles with a focus on quality and guest experience. You’ll train toward certification through the company program, promote teamwork, and maintain a clean, presentable service center. Responsibilities include communicating with guests, guiding junior technicians, inspecting vehicles, and performing tasks such as oil drain plug and oil filter replacement, tire pressure checks, and fluid level inspections, while documenting work and adhering to safety policies. The role requires the ability to perform physical tasks (standing, lifting up to 50 pounds, bending, squatting), a flexible schedule (including weekends/holidays), and strong communication and teamwork skills to support reliable, on-time service.
Required Qualifications
- Must have at least 3 months of customer facing experience
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship
- Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals
- Effective communication skills to interact with guests and teammates
- Strong work ethic with a positive attitude; independently motivated, dependable, and a team player
- Physically able to stand for extended periods on hard surfaces, lift up to 50 pounds, and perform manual tasks including bending and squatting
- Willingness to work in varying temperatures, loud environments, and around exhaust fumes
- Availability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and some holidays
- Commitment to adhering to all safety protocols and company policies
