Job Summary
General Service Technician (GST) entry-level role at Team Car Care/Jiffy Lube. You will professionally service guest vehicles, participate in the training program to receive certification, and help ensure top-quality work and guest experience. Responsibilities include promoting teamwork to deliver on-time guest care, communicating clearly with guests and teammates about vehicle status, keeping the service center clean and presentable, mentoring junior teammates, checking oil and tire pressures, inspecting and refilling fluid levels, performing oil changes (drain plug and oil filter), cleaning and lubricating fittings, documenting work on repair orders, reporting safety issues, and adhering to vehicle care procedures. Requires at least 3 months of customer-facing experience, ability to read safety and operating instructions, strong communication, physical capability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods, and a willingness to work a flexible schedule including weekends and some holidays. Required Qualifications
- At least 3 months of customer facing experience
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals
- Effective communication skills to interact with guests and teammates
- Physically able to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and perform manual tasks including bending and squatting
- Willingness to work in varying temperatures, loud environments, and around exhaust fumes
- Availability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and some holidays
