Job Summary
General Service Technician position in San Diego, CA focused on professionally servicing guests' vehicles and delivering a high-quality guest experience. Responsibilities include teamwork to ensure timely and accurate guest care, clear communication with guests about vehicle needs, maintaining a clean and presentable service center, mentoring junior technicians, inspecting vehicles, checking oil levels, tire pressures, and fluid levels, installing oil components, documenting all work on repair orders, reporting safety issues, adhering to safety policies, and performing physical tasks including lifting and working in varying temperatures. The role includes participation in a training program to gain certification and opportunities for career advancement within the team. Strong emphasis on customer service, teamwork, attention to detail, and adherence to procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Must have at least 3 months of customer facing experience (i.e. retail, food service, hospitality, etc.)
- Must be at least 18 years of age and legally authorized to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals
- Effective communication skills to interact with guests and teammates
- Physically able to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and perform manual tasks including bending and squatting
