Job Summary
General Service Technician position at a service center. You will be responsible for professionally servicing guests' vehicles, performing tasks such as oil changes and fluid level checks, tire pressure verification, and vehicle inspections. You will participate in the training program to receive certification, contribute to a clean and presentable service center, mentor junior technicians, document work performed, communicate clearly with teammates and guests, and adhere to safety protocols. The role emphasizes teamwork, guest service, accuracy, attention to detail, and the ability to work in varying environments, including lifting up to 50 pounds and standing for extended periods. Location is Shrewsbury, MO, with full-time hours and health/retirement benefits offered under an employee program.
Required Qualifications
- Must have at least 3 months of customer facing experience (i.e. retail, food service, hospitality, etc.)
- Must be at least 18 years of age and legally authorized to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship, now or in the future
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals
- Effective communication skills to interact with guests and teammates
- Strong work ethic with a positive attitude; independently motivated, dependable, and a team player
- Demonstrates responsibility, attention to detail, and the ability to follow procedures, identify problems, and make sound decisions
- Physically able to stand for extended periods on hard surfaces, lift up to 50 pounds, and perform manual tasks including bending and squatting
