Job Summary
Entry-level General Service Technician role servicing guests' vehicles and performing automotive tasks as part of a defined training program that leads to certification. Responsibilities include delivering courteous guest care, communicating clearly with teammates, ensuring a clean and presentable service center, guiding junior technicians, checking oil levels and tire pressures, inspecting and refilling fluids, installing oil drains/filters, and maintaining adherence to safety and company policies. Strong emphasis on teamwork, customer service, and developing technical skills through on-the-job training.
Required Qualifications
- At least 3 months of customer facing experience (e.g., retail, food service, hospitality)
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship now or in the future
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals
- Effective communication skills to interact with guests and teammates
- physically able to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and perform bending/squatting
- Availability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and some holidays
