Job Summary
General Service Technician (entry-level) will professionally service guests' vehicles, participate in an established training program to gain certification, and ensure high-quality work and guest experience. Responsibilities include promoting teamwork, communicating clearly with guests, keeping the service center clean and presentable, mentoring junior technicians, inspecting oil and fluid levels, checking tire pressure, performing oil drain plug and oil filter replacements, documenting all work on repair orders, reporting safety issues, and adhering to safety policies. The role requires physical capability for extended periods of standing, lifting up to 50 pounds, and working in varying temperatures, with a bias toward customer service and teamwork in a busy service environment.
Required Qualifications
- Must have at least 3 months of customer facing experience
- Must be at least 18 years of age and legally authorized to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals
- Effective communication skills to interact with guests and teammates
- Physically able to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and perform manual tasks including bending and squatting
- Willingness to work in varying temperatures, loud environments, and around exhaust fumes
- Availability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and some holidays
- Commitment to adhering to all safety protocols and company policies
