Job Summary
Change oil and oil filters in cars and light trucks, provide tire installation, repair, and rotation, and inspect engine fluids. Perform thorough vehicle inspections following a checklist for belts, hoses, and brakes, while lubricating frontend parts as needed. Move customer vehicles into and out of service bays, maintaining a safe, clean, and organized work area. Act professionally to represent the organization, building trust with customers and co-workers. This role requires a valid driver's license, mechanical inclination, and willingness to work Saturdays and Sundays.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to pass a pre-employment background screen
- Must be mechanically inclined
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Top-notch customer service skills
- Willingness to work Saturdays and/or Sundays
- Prolonged periods of standing, stooping, and bending
- Exerting 50 - 100 lbs of force occasionally and/or 10 - 25 lbs of force frequently and/or greater than 10 lbs of force constantly
- Ability to meet the physical requirements listed for this role
Desired Qualifications
- One year or more years of experience in basic car care
