General Service Technician

Job Summary
Conduct oil changes, filter replacements, tire installation, repair, and rotation, and perform thorough vehicle inspections for belts, hoses, and brakes. Top off engine fluids, lubricate frontend parts, and move customer vehicles in and out of service bays. Maintain clean, organized work areas and tools while building positive relationships with customers, co-workers, and management. Act professionally to represent the company, adhering to core values and working a production rate pace with occasional heavy lifting. Requires a valid driver's license, willingness to work weekends, and ability to pass drug and background screenings.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test and background screen
- Must be mechanically inclined
- Customer-focused attitude with ability to work well in a team environment
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Top-notch customer service skills with a desire to build long term trust and relationships with our customers
- Willingness to work Saturdays and/or Sundays
- Ability to meet physical requirements including prolonged periods of standing, stooping, and bending
- Ability to exert 50 - 100 lbs of force occasionally and/or 10 - 25 lbs of force frequently and/or greater than 10 lbs of force constantly
- Ability to work at a production rate pace entailing the constant pushing and/or pulling of materials
Desired Qualifications
- One year or more years of experience in basic car care helpful but not necessary
