Job Summary
Change oil and oil filters in cars and light trucks, provide tire care including installation, repair, and rotation, and inspect engine fluids. Perform thorough vehicle inspections following a checklist of potential trouble spots such as belts, hoses, and brakes. Lubricate frontend parts as needed and move customer vehicles into and out of service bays. Maintain positive customer relationships and keep tools, equipment, and work areas clean and functional. Act professionally to represent the organization with trust, honesty, and respect. Valid driver's license and willingness to work Saturdays and/or Sundays required.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to pass a pre-employment background screen
- Must be mechanically inclined
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Top-notch customer service skills
- Willingness to work Saturdays and/or Sundays
- Prolonged periods of standing, stooping, and bending
- Exerting 50 - 100 lbs of force occasionally and/or 10 - 25 lbs of force frequently and/or greater than 10 lbs of force constantly
- Working at a production rate pace entailing the constant pushing and/or pulling of materials
- Ability to meet the physical requirements listed for this role
Desired Qualifications
- One year or more years of experience in basic car care
