Job Summary
Conduct oil changes and tire services including installation, repair, and rotation. Inspect and top off engine fluids, lubricate frontend parts, and perform thorough vehicle inspections on belts, hoses, and brakes. Move customer vehicles into and out of service bays while maintaining positive relationships with customers, co-workers, and management. Keep tools, equipment, and work areas clean and functional, adhering to safety standards and company values. Represent the organization with trust, honesty, and respect in all customer interactions.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test and background screen
- Must be mechanically inclined
- Willingness to work Saturdays and/or Sundays
- Prolonged periods of standing, stooping, and bending
- At time, exerting 50 - 100 lbs of force occasionally and/or 10 - 25 lbs of force frequently and/or greater than 10 lbs of force constantly to move objects
- Requires working at a production rate pace entailing the constant pushing and/or pulling of materials
- Ability to meet the physical requirements listed for this role
Desired Qualifications
- One year or more years of experience in basic car care helpful but not necessary
- Customer-focused attitude with ability to work well in a team environment
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Top-notch customer service skills with a desire to build long term trust and relationships with our customers
