Job Summary
Change oil and oil filters in cars and light trucks, provide tire care including installation, repair, and rotation, and inspect engine fluids. Perform thorough vehicle inspections covering belts, hoses, and brakes, while lubricating frontend parts as needed. Move customer vehicles into and out of service bays, maintaining a safe, clean, and organized work area. Act professionally to represent the organization, building positive relationships with customers and co-workers. Requires a valid driver's license, mechanical inclination, and willingness to work Saturdays and Sundays.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to pass a pre-employment background screen
- Willingness to work Saturdays and/or Sundays
- Must be mechanically inclined
- Customer-focused attitude with ability to work well in a team environment
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Top-notch customer service skills with a desire to build long term trust and relationships with our customers
- Prolonged periods of standing, stooping, and bending
- Exerting 50 - 100 lbs of force occasionally and/or 10 - 25 lbs of force frequently and/or greater than 10 lbs of force constantly to move objects
- Working at a production rate pace entailing the constant pushing and/or pulling of materials
- Ability to meet the physical requirements listed for this role
Desired Qualifications
- One year or more years of experience in basic car care helpful but not necessary
