General Service Technician

Job Summary
The General Service Technician will perform oil changes, oil-filter replacement, tire care (installation, repair, rotation), inspect and top off engine fluids, lubricate frontend parts, conduct vehicle inspections per a checklist (belts, hoses, brakes), and move vehicles in/out of service bays while maintaining customer relationships and a safe, clean work area. Requires a high school diploma or GED, basic car-care experience, mechanical inclination, valid driver’s license, ability to pass pre-employment drug test and background check, strong interpersonal and customer-service skills, and weekend availability (Saturdays). Maintains professionalism and teamwork in interactions with colleagues and management.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
- One year or more years of experience in basic car care helpful but not necessary
- Customer-focused attitude with ability to work well in a team environment
- Must be mechanically inclined
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test and background screen
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Top-notch customer service skills with a desire to build long term trust and relationships with our customers
- Willingness to work Saturdays
