General Service Technician

Job Summary
Conduct oil changes and tire services including installation, repair, and rotation for light trucks and cars. Inspect and top off engine fluids, lubricate frontend parts, and perform thorough vehicle inspections following a checklist for belts, hoses, and brakes. Move customer vehicles into and out of service bays while maintaining positive relationships with customers, co-workers, and management. Keep tools, equipment, and work areas clean and functional, adhering to safety standards and company values. Requires a valid driver's license, willingness to work Saturdays, and ability to meet physical demands involving prolonged standing and lifting up to 100 lbs.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test and background screen
- Willingness to work Saturdays
- Must be mechanically inclined
- Customer-focused attitude with ability to work well in a team environment
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Top-notch customer service skills with a desire to build long term trust and relationships with our customers
- Prolonged periods of standing, stooping, and bending
- At time, exerting 50 - 100 lbs of force occasionally and/or 10 - 25 lbs of force frequently and/or greater than 10 lbs of force constantly to move objects
- Requires working at a production rate pace entailing the constant pushing and/or pulling of materials
